Great atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly and supportive. I am not a morning person but am now looking forward to waking up early to attend the classes.
IMA is a great place! The coaches are super friendly, supportive, and really know how to make you feel comfortable. They’ve built an environment where everyone can learn and grow together. As a woman starting Muay Thai, I was definitely nervous, but IMA has turned it into a positive experience. And the gym is always clean, which I really appreciate. I’m so glad I joined!
IMA is an incredibly engaging and welcoming place. As a woman, it was a bit intimidating starting Muay Thai classes. However, I have always felt supported, encouraged, and challenged at IMA. The classes can truly be a haven for anyone of all expertise level, shape, size, age, gender, etc. so long as you are willing to put in the effort and learn. The coaches are all unique in their teaching styles yet complement one another well. They meet everyone at their learning level while supporting all to attempt new challenges. The community here is strong and the classes have become such an enjoyable part of my week.
This is my new favorite place to hang out. It’s a good workout and the coaches are great at giving direction and keeping you motivated/moving. I’ve been here a month and everyone I’ve met has been welcoming and friendly. It can be intimidating joining a new gym but that isn’t the case here.
Awesome Muay Thai and FIT camp!
After a year in karate I switched my son to Thai boxing at IMA. He is now showing great interest It’s more practical hands on and coach is very friendly. The place is huge
Amazing clean facilities, with a professional yet fun environment. Beginner and advanced friendly. IMA is a welcoming place for anyone looking to deepen their passion for martial arts, or just to get a good workout.
The coaches here are incredibly welcoming and attentive. They keep classes interesting, engaging, and dynamic. IMA caterS to everyone, whether you’re training for fitness or a competition. Highly recommend!
Could not recommend this gym more! Excellent gym culture and instructors! Early morning and evening BJJ and Muay Thai classes to meet any schedule!
Schedule and professors are great. Community is nice and welcoming to all
I joined IMA for the summer after my second year in college. I had a few months of training experience prior to to this. I had the typical nervous feelings that come with joining a new gym, but those feelings quickly went away. The staff was extremely friendly right away and the other members made me feel very welcome. Whether you are someone with zero experience just looking for a new hobby, or have a desire to compete in BJJ, Muay Thai, or MMA, IMA is a great place to train.
Great gym. Great people. I’ve learned a ton in a short period of time. Anybody looking to learn Muay Thai, BJJ, or get in shape should definitely check out IMA!
Best coaching/ instructor ( Luis Rodriguez) I have ever met…If you want to become effective at Martial arts this is the place for you to train safely at the top level
My 13 year old son started at IMA a few years back. He took a bit of a break to start high school sports, but he’s back now along with myself and my older son.
As a coach in almost every sport, i often wondered (worried) what we’d do together after youth sports. IMA gives us the opportunity to have something to look forward to together for years to come!
From the high belt instructors down to the brand new white belts, everyone at IMA are great to work with. This is a very well run gym to say the least!
IMA is the perfect gym to begin or train mixed martial arts and a fantastic place to get a good workout in. The instruction is catered to your needs as an athlete and the coaches are there to see you grow.
After recovering from an injury at the end of my high school athletics career, I tried going to IMA at the recommendation of my physical therapist. I was a bit nervous because I had never done combat sports before and I felt like fighting was an individual sport. Not only did I find the workouts to be as challenging as I hoped, I loved interacting with the team and getting to know everyone on the mats. The community supports each other unconditionally
With the passion and skills for combat sports I developed at IMA, I was able to join my university’s club boxing team and have competed numerous times with them. I still use the skills I learned at IMA every time I step into the ring
I was looking for a year round program for my son to stay active instead of playing video games at home. Then I decided to look into martial arts because it will help him develop self-esteem, self-discipline and awareness of difficult situations, and I found IMA. Frank, the coach of the kids jiu-jitsu program is amazing. He spends a lot of time coaching kids who have issues like laziness, no focus, not listening well, etc etc etc….. He also spends time to discipline and teach them life lessons thru martial arts. Since my son started the program, he has improved his overall behavior like picking up after himself and doing much better at school (I haven’t gotten a call from the school this year so far : > ). I would highly recommend Intergrated Martial Arts of westborough to everyone.
