Jose Rodriguez has been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for six years and has obtained a purple belt through Professor Everilton Soneca Silva who is a fourth degree black belt. Jose took up training martial arts because of his background in law enforcement. He is currently ten years into a career with the Worcester Police Department and has experience using BJJ not only as an art to maintain fitness, discipline, and focus but as a self-defense tool. Jose has also competed in various tournaments and continues to compete while coaching, training and developing new methods to bring BJJ to as many people as possible. He is passionate about constantly learning and continues to bring new methods of training to the students at Integrated Martial Arts.
